~Adventures with my Dad~

Those who know my Dad- know that going with him is always an adventure! I love it! It is always exciting to get to be able to hang out with my Dad. He is the best Dad a girl could ask for. I have been able to go on a few horse rides this year with my Dad and it has been awesome. Bran, Kace, and Jess went (Mike and Adam were off hunting). This last weekend we went somewhere near Driggs and instead of taking a trail we went STRAIGHT up the mountain side, making our own trail. It was exciting but I was getting nervous thinking that we were going to have go DOWN the mountain with the trail we had made! But we stopped and ate a yummy lunch of ribs, potatoe salad, watermelon, and canteloupe! We napped in the meadow soaking up the sun. We did eventually find a trail and it was still scary going down the mountain. It was great fun and I can't wait for next year when Adam and I will be able to go on more horse rides! Adam and I are leaving tomorrow for China! We are excited for this adventure (again) and hope that it is just as great as last fall! We will miss our families and friends but will be back before we know it!

Adam and I are on our way to China for the fall! We had such a great time teaching English last year that we decided we had to go back. A lot of things are blocked in China, so I am trying to update my blog through my e-mail! We will see how it works!

Being home was been wonderful! There is no place like home! I love it here so much. I don't want to leave. We have done a lot of fun things! We have enjoyed the great weather, ate from the garden, rode bikes, went to the playmill, went to utah, went on horse rides, and hung out with family and friends!

I went on a horse ride up to Alaska Basin with my Dad and some of his friends. I forgot how much I loved going with my Dad on a horse ride. It was beautiful and we had so much fun. Some of my favorite memories of growing up are going with my Dad up to the mountains. It is always an adventure going with my Dad.

My wonderful sister-in-law Kacie was so nice to wake up early the morning before I left and take some pictures of Adam and I! As you can see she did an AWESOME job! I love her edits and can't wait to get them but I am currently in Idaho and she is in Maryland so here are some of my edits :<>

Adam was so funny and was so great to get up early and entertain us. I have to say that I love his mohawk! He looks so fierce. I love it! I have the best husband! I love him so much- he treats me like a princess and makes me laugh!

Jess, Sarah, and I went out to get us some Georgetown cupcakes. If you live in this area or even visit a Georgetown cupcake is a *must* We had a great time. Us country girls are definitely not so good driving in the city! :> But we ended up driving past the National Cathedral so we had to stop and take some pics, and those cupcakes made up for losing a few parking spots and getting lost on our way home...numerous times! Then we had to take some pics of the cupcakes because they are that good!

We planned to go today to get some more cupcakes so I could take some home to my mom and dad but of course the one day they are closed each week is Monday! I can't believe how fast this summer has gone. Here are a few of the things I loved this summer!
