4 months!

Where does the time go?
My babe is really 4 months and it doesn't matter if I can't believe it!
It doesn't matter that I want time to stand still. The clock just keeps ticking.

He has been sick the last week......not fun!
I am pretty sure he is going on a nursing strike because he's sick.
That is hard for me.
I don't know what he is sick with.
And he isn't sleeping as well as he usually does.
He cries and is sad.
It makes me sad.

But he LAUGHED! He has been pretty quiet this last week because the poor babe doesn't feel good.

So we got a few laughs out of him and then nothing since. Oh well we will take what we can get!

We love the little chubs.

4 month stats
Weight- 15lbs 11oz  69%
Height- 26 in            87%
Head- 41cm              21%
He is growing so fast.
And he is rolling! Really rolling. Not just because he hates tummy time. We are much better at tummy time because he doesn't cry as much. It is so adorable to see him roll over as soon as he gets on his tummy.

He has a bubble on his lip and he has it almost the whole roll!

Christmas 2011

 4th year anniversary!

White Elephant Gift Party!

This was a new tradition for our family but definitely a keeper! It was so much fun with lots of laughs and hilarious gifts. I love Christmas Break. We were there for two weeks and could have stayed longer. We also hung out with Adams family and had so much fun with them.  I didn't get any pictures other than this one with the Wes, Ben, and Liam.

DIY

Adam is a talented boy! It seems like everything he does he is naturally good at it. Whether it is doing tricks on the trampoline or learning a new language. He also likes to do things on his own rather than buying it. He learns about it and then does it! Like making his own "nose frida". Our poor babe had a cold and he was stuffed up. My sis A told me about a nasal aspiratir she really liked so we googled to find it. We couldn't find the one she liked, but Adam found the "nose frida" and it had rave reviews about it. BUT you can only buy it online and we needed one now....so he made one! It's kinda gross but it works dang good.
Here is the nose frida

Adams version
it's amazing that a turkey baster, duct tape and some tube can create a great snot sucker!

He is quite the handyman!

He also likes to cut his own hair! You would never know that I have two amazing sisters that do an awesome job doing hair. We were even with them all christmas vacation. I usually cut his neckline for him but he couldn't wait for me this time........and so this is what happened!!!

Next time he said he'd wait!
I had to fix it but I'm no hairstylist, my sister said I need to round the corners!! I'll have to remember that next time he decides to cut his own hair. I sure love the boy!

Morning smiles!

The babe usually sleeps anywhere from 5-8.5 hours. I feed him and then I usually hold him and we sleep for a few more hours. This morning I was so tired even though he had slept seven hours and then another three. I could feel him waking up so I yawned and tried to wake myself up and looked down at him and he was smiling so big! It was the cutest smile! I wish I could've gotten a picture. He is so wiggly it's hard to get a picture of him in focus.

The year to blog!

One of my goals this year is to blog more. Document what is happening in our lives. I love looking back and remembering the things that changed us, small things I would've forgotten, and any occasion that made us laugh!

A few months ago I was reading in my journal about our trip to Europe and I was crying from laughing so hard about things I had forgotten about!

For example:
Adam's and I first stop was in London. We flew all night and got to London in the afternoon. We walked around and did some sight seeing. We stayed in a hostel and neither of us slept very well. Needless to say traveling + lack of sleep= two very on edge and snappy people (mostly me!) So the next day after another long but exciting day we were starving so we ended up eating next to our hostel.
We got some some weird sandwhiches and fries so I started making some fry sauce....in between our conversation I asked Adam if he would wanted me to use two ketchup packets and one mayo for the fry sauce....and although I don't remember the exact conversation we were having, Adam said, "oh What would you do with out me?" and I thought he was talking about the fry sauce. So I replied in my most annoyed and are you kidding me tone, "uh I would still do two ketchups and a mayo." haha He was confused, I was confused and then we started laughing at how ridiculous we were!
Maybe it is one of those things that you have to be there for, but it is hilarious to us. Adam now reminds me by randomly asking me what I would do with out him!

So here is to the new year and to blogging more!
