25th Birthday

Adam is so sweet and never ceases to surprise me! He surprised me
flowers that were delivered to my work but because of pregnancy sickness I stayed home! haha He had to go get them and bring them home! He got me belgium chocolate and a huge card! We went to Salt Lake and went to a movie and shopped around. We ate at The Roof in the Joseph Smith memorial building. It was fun and really good food(until later....love being pregnant). Adam tried to keep it really low key because I had been so sick. It ended up being the perfect weekend!

I can't believe I am 25!!! Where has the time gone? It doesn't feel like very long ago that Adam and I started dating! Now we are married with a baby on the way. How is that possible? It will soon go from us two to three this fall when we welcome our baby boy!

Wow! How life passes you by with out realizing it. We have been so blessed to be able to have done so much. The best part is that I have experienced all of this with my best friend! How I love that boy! I feel very grateful, and I can't wait to see what new adventures we will have!

Las Vegas

Brandon and Kacie let me come with them to Vegas. It was nice although traveling and being pregnant and sick is kinda hard. I babysat the two wild indians and it was fun and crazy! They are so cute and I love them so much but they are a full time job. After I got home I was like, "Adam what did we get ourselves into."(I have asked him that a few times!) But I couldn't imagine my life without all my nieces and nephews and they aren't even my own children. I know that being parents isn't the easiest job but it is the most worthwhile and the best job we could have and Adam and I are excited for this next phase of our lives.

Our baby is going to be born in the year of the "Rabbit." They were celebrating the Chinese New Year in Vegas. So according to the Chinese Zodiac Calendar the rabbits traits are-
Occupying the 4th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Rabbit symbolizes such character traits as creativity, compassion, and sensitivity. Rabbits are friendly, outgoing and prefer the company of others. They also prefer to avoid conflict. In confrontational situations, Rabbits approach calmly and with consideration for the other party. Rabbits believe strongly in friends and family and lacking such bonds can lead to emotional issues.

Haha Look at that adorable face!

~Arizona~

I got to tag along with my parents and my cousin Daniel to go to Arizona to see my Grandparents. We had such a great time. It was so fun hanging out with the family. Danny is so funny and he made the trip so fun. We went to St.George first and stayed the night and the next day we went to Hoover Dam which is pretty impressive.  We then made our way to Lake Havesu and to the city of London where we saw the London Bridge.

"In 1967, the Common Council of the City of London placed the bridge on the market and began to look for potential buyers. On 18 April 1968, Rennie's bridge was sold to the American entrepreneur Robert P. McCulloch ofMcCulloch Oil for $2,460,000. When casting his bid for the bridge, McCulloch doubled the estimated cost of dismantling the structure, which was $1.2 million, bringing the price to $2.4 million. He then added on $60,000, a thousand dollars for each year of his age at the time he estimated the bridge would be raised in Arizona. His gesture earned him the winning bid.
As the bridge was taken apart, each piece was numbered to aid re-assembly. The bridge was reconstructed in Lake Havasu City, and re-dedicated on 10 October 1971. The reconstruction of Rennie's London Bridge spans the Bridgewater Channel canal that leads from Lake Havasu to Thomson Bay. Rennie's London Bridge has become Arizona's second-biggest tourist attraction, after the Grand Canyon." History of London Bridge

That was really interesting and fun. We ate at a fish n' chips place on the boardwalk and that was really yummy. After we got to Quartzsite and found my Grandparents placed we bunked up with them. We were there for a few days but we had a great time. We went to church and enjoyed the Sabbath. Monday we went to the Rock show and saw lots of rocks. We then went to the desert and hiked up a trail to seem a bunch of palm trees that grow in a crevice in the mountain. They are a few thousand years old and really interesting that they grow there because the Sonoran desert only gets about 6 inches of rain a year and temperatures can get up to 120 degrees.

We stopped in St. George again and had fun with my other Grandparents. It was a great trip and it was so nice to be in the sunshine!
