Adam and I decided to go to St. George and spend time with our Grandparents. Sadly my grandparents were busy but it was a great to spend time with Adams grandparents. Jess and Mike were down there and that was really fun to hang out with them. Poor baby had a hard time sleeping at night but over all it was a great weekend!

Determination

Liam gets this look in his when he sees something and he zones in on it and is determined to get it! I love it! He is growing up so fast.

2 bottom teeth

Liam has his two bottom teeth! They poked through 2 weeks ago and it looks like he has a few more about to poke through any day now. I like what my sister said, "teething rocks their world." and it has! He is a champ though and hasn't been too fussy! Or fussier than normal, sleeping is a different story!

Masquerade

On Facebook I saw an event for a Masquerade party. It was at an old mansion and it sounded fun. I'm always for a dance party. Jess, Mike, Brandon, and Kacie were the only ones who could come. It was fun to be together and get dressed up, but I was thinking it was going to be a little different. But it was a normal college dance though, more for single kids. It took me back to high school dances with Adam. It was still fun and Adam and Mike had quite the dance moves. I loved dancing and letting loose. I wasn't worried about Liam at all because I have the best neighbor who watched him for us.
We didn't last too long. We all had to tip back some red-bull to make it through a few more songs!(except Kacie who is a glowing beautiful pregnant woman!)

Fillmore

Adam and I are on our way to St. George! We decided to go and visit our grandparents before we leave for the summer. On the way you pass a small town in the middle of nowhere, Fillmore.
Every time I pass Fillmore I think of the time my Mom and I got stuck in a snow store on our way to St. George to visit my grandparents. It was around this time of year and my Mom was determined to get to Cedar City that night. Luckily I was in the drivers seat and pulled off at the Fillmore exit. After seeing 8 or 9 cars off the road and the snow not letting up and my aunt demanding that we stop, I thought it was a good idea. I have to laugh because I had never seen my Mom be so determined! I definitely come by it honestly!
We ended up getting a hotel and had a steak dinner and pecan pie at the Garden of Eatin. We swam and had a great time and we were especially glad that we had got to the hotel early as it was full and full of people in the lounge hoping to get a room.
So last week when A called me to see if I could come pick her and the kids up in Fillmore because their cars transmission went out, I had to laugh!
It was a beautiful drive, and I got to hang out with my wonderful sister and Liam got to be with his cousins! It was a great day for me! It was a fun drive back to Provo, thanks to a carful of young boys. It made A and I laugh and the girls were LOVING it! Boy crazy girls! A and I have been getting together and it is so much fun. I am going to miss her when we leave for the summer.
I love my sisters/sister in laws and my Mom. They are the most amazing women in my life and I look up to each of them. I have 7 amazing girl friends for life. I know that no matter what we will always be there for each other and if we have issues we will eventually work them out!

Growing up

I am sitting here folding Liam's clothes ready to organize and put them away, and my eyes are filled with tears.
It feels so long ago when Adam and I found out that we were going to have a baby. But it feels like we just brought Liam home from the hospital.
How is it that I am folding his clothes to get more space?? Didn't he just come home with us?
His newborn clothes look so tiny even though when he came home from the hospital they were big on him.
It's amazing the growth and change that happens in 6 months. In Liam as he grows and learns, he is getting more aware everyday and is discovering things around him.
As a mother and a woman.
The dynamic of Adams and I relationship and the exciting adventure of having a baby together that has a part of each of us in him. It is an overwhelming and an amazing journey that we are on.
