~We have been talking about politics in our classes and it has been interesting to hear what my students say about the elections. Most wanted Obama to win. Most didn't even know who McCain was. haha They wanted Obama to win because he is young, good looking, and has new ideas. So Adam and I have been teaching about making educated decisions. And we also talked a little about gay marriage. Fortunately for them it was an alien subject and they could not believe that a man and a man or a woman and a woman would actually want to kiss and get married! They thought I was joking that gay marriage was legal in a few states.
~I hope that Twilight is everything that we all want it to be! I am so jealous that all my sisters get to see it without me in only a few weeks! I want to hear all about it but at the same time I don't. I don't want to have any expectations. Things always seem to be so much better that way!
~ Monday nights during the summer were spent in a little t.v. room in our apartment club house watching the Bachelorette with Deanna Pappus. Most of us were disapointed when Deanna chose Jesse over Jason..................SERIOUSLY. Well the inevitable has happened and Jesse and Deanna have broken up. Really most of us probably aren't surprised. Thank goodness we have the internet here! More great news! Erica Hahns character has been CUT from Greys Anatomy! I love Greys and was sad and disgusted that they brought Callie and Erica together..........ugh just to play up Callie Torres amazing acting skills. But they are no more! YAY!

I heard about Deanna and I knew it! Jesse was not right for her! We are sad you are missing Twilight with us also! I wish gay marriage was foreign here as well! I am glad they cut her character because I stopped watching them I was disgusted!
OK so you know you will get to see Twilight before any of us.. you can go buy it there before it even comes out here! BLAH! I'm so jealous!! Have you found any good dvd stores? I wrote James and gave him a list of where some are so he can take you there. You can also buy full seasons of Greys and others... anyway how is it guys?? you liking it??
I am so glad you got me all caught up on the news. I am sooo glad about Greys Anatomy. Thank goodness for my DVR I can fast forward through those parts. SICK!
Two things I am SOO glad about...first they passed proposition 8 in CA...YAY! second....DeAnna dumped Jesse! Megan Mckinley and I were dying when we saw it on the tv. We all knew it wouldn't last!!
HAHA! Yes! Sorry, I was just so excited to here that they are cutting Erica Hone from Grey's! I personally think that it has ruined the entire show. Callie does not need parts like that to show off her acting skills. People have there own free will and by all mean if there into the same sex that's there choice but I don't care to see things like that on t.v. shows. As for Deanna and Jessie it was only a matter of time. :)
Ha ha I was so mad when Deanna and Jesse broke up. What a waste of yet another bacholorette. Now that she has ruined her chances with Jason, I hope she spends the rest of her life alone.

We haven't made any definite plans, but we have wanted to go on that trip from the beginning so I think we will. I think we have to let him know next week so we need to get busy discussing our plans. We'll let you know as soon as we know. I looked at a weather report for the island and the average in January is 69 degrees. Not as warm as I'd like, but will feel like heaven I'm sure at that time. Are you coming to Qingdao this weekend? We have our BYU supervisors here this week. I believe they are speaking in church Sunday. Ciao for now.
