The third day we went around Seoul and saw the changing of the guards. We got to put on some traditional Korean dress(not the most flattering!) and pose with the guards. We saw the city and went to a palace. We walked around the palace grounds and gardens before we went to lunch with Yong's Dad. Of course Katie and I wanted to go shopping that night! The shopping is better in China, but it was still fun to see all the different styles. Katie was on a mission to find these cute ballet flats that were fuzzy on the inside. She found a pair that she liked, but we decided to keep looking and get them on the way back if she couldn't find anything else. Of course as we start to head back the shop is in process of closing up and wouldn't even talk to her about getting those shoes.
We laughed at the posters {wannabe a star} and the butt pads(definitely don't need those!) and we ended our night with delicious food! Hamburgers from TGIF. We had a great time in Korea. Even though it was really cold we were glad that we got to sneak out of China for a few days and see Korea!
