After Rory and Roses wedding my mom and I were going to go to Cedar City but it was late and we were tired so we decided to go the next day. Saturday morning us girls went to Zumba. We were hanging out when it started to rain and so my mom and I started to drive to Cedar City! The weather got worse and the roads got slicker. After we saw some cars off the road and a few frantic phone calls from my Aunts about the road conditions I saw the exit for Fillmore and pulled off. My Mom was determined to get to Cedar City that night. It was really funny to see her stubborn determination! We decided to stay at the only hotel the Best Western and drove around the town. We were going to go to the movie theater but the one and only movie playing was one that we had already seen. We hit up the family dollar and then ate at the Garden of Eat'n. We had fun! We went swimming and talked to a few more stranded people and when I went to get some towels at the front desk the lobby was filled with people needing a place to stay but the hotel was filled. I think it took like 5 people telling us that staying was a good idea for my mom to feel good about delaying our trip one night!!! We had so much fun and we couldn't believe how much it had snowed the night before. The roads were good the next day and we got to Cedar City for a fun filled week!
