~The Stone Forest~
Dec 21st we didn't really have too much to do. We got an early bus to Guiyang and had time to spare so we went to an internet cafe and hung out. It was really nice to connect with the world again. We were able to watch The Blind Side. It was a great movie. We ate lunch at a really nice hotel and enjoyed the christmas music and decorations. We then caught our flight to Kunming and had to endure someone clicking their seat belt over and over. We got up early and had a driver take us to the Stone Forest. It is the only reason we went to Kunming and it was worth it. We rented bikes and enjoyed the warmer weather and the cool rock formations. As we were leaving I bought a fake Jade bracelet. I knew it was fake and our driver couldn't believe I bought fake Jade, so he took us to a mall area where they are "authorized" dealers for Jade. I ended up buying a bracelet for a way better price than Adam and I had talked about so I was happy. It will probably never come off my wrist....not necessarily because I don't want it to. Then we asked him if we could stop at McDonalds and he said oh no you won't have time at the airport(he must have never flown before). We got to the airport too early and then our flight ended up being delayed another few hours. We were happy to finally catch our flight to Lijiang.
