Adam and I love Thailand! It is such a tropical paradise! We were so happy to get to the HOT weather! We left Dali too early Christmas morning!!! The hotel told us it took about an hour to get to the airport and so we left 2 1/2 hours in advance(the hotels recommendation).......and it took 20 minutes to get to the airport! Our taxi driver was hauling! This wasn't the first time that we were so early that hardly anyone was there! We got to Khao San Road around 7ish and walked around the streets and got some delicious Thai food and bought some clothes. We love the food there! They have great pizza, fruit smoothies, kabobs, pineapple, pad thai, spring rolls, snitchels, and falafel's. yum! We hung around Khao San road for a day and enjoyed the food, shopping, and the pool. Then we took a six hour bus ride to the island of Koh Chang. It was so much fun! We rented a scooter and rode around the island and played in the ocean and laid on the beach! Heaven! The water is so warm! We played in the ocean ALL day! The first few days the mornings were cloudy and it would pour rain. That didn't stop us! We had such a great time! We were able to enjoy Thailand for 10 glorious days!!! Our 10 days of traveling Southern China seemed like 20 days and our time in Thailand flew by so fast it felt like we were only there for 2 days.
