We rode a bus from Lijiang to Dali. I loved being able to see the beautiful country side on our bus rides. We had a great time. We stayed in a really cool place in the middle of "old town." One thing we loved about Lijiang and Dali were the western cafes. We had a blast riding our double bike around Dali. We went through the old town and then to the lake. We had to laugh because we kinda felt like we were back in Idaho with the scenery. That night for Christmas Eve we ate out and had yummy, juicy, greasy burgers and fries! Then as we were walking back we got plastered by some kids with silly string and shaving cream stuff. So we decided to join in on the festivities and we got some of our own bottles and went around the street spraying and getting sprayed. It was a party! Finally after we ran out of ammo we went back to our hotel where they were having a Christmas party as well. It was a great Christmas Eve that didn't feel like Christmas at all!
